I know that many of you have already seen photos of my faux rug before, but I thought I'd share it again because Melissa at The Inspired Room is asking everyone to share their ideas for creative concealment. Hop on over there and check out the neat ideas!

I'm so glad you reposted these photos. I just love your work. That's why there's a little something over at the Rosehaven Cottage blog for you.

Holy Cow...that's amazing- I thought it was a real rug-- great job!
ReplyDeleteWow, your "rug" is amazingly real looking! I had to read it twice to make sure you were saying it was paint! Wow, that is quite a great way to conceal floors in bad shape!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your creative concealment, Catherine!
OH my gosh! I love your rug. You have such a great talent. I am so jealous. Please take pictures for your hope chest when done. I would love to see it.

ReplyDeleteHOLY COW! I can't believe that rug isn't real!!! You did an amazing job. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThat is a piece of art !
ReplyDeleteI would want to cut it out & take it with me !
When you have an old house you have to come up with ways to conceal!! I did not do a post on it; but I certainly have done stuff to conceal---mainly because of lack of money!! It does make for some comedy at my home!!
ReplyDeleteNice job!
Oh, I did show a little creative concealment in one of the pictures on this post:
