Every year our little country church, Rock Falls, presents a "Live Nativity" for the community. Cars of families drive down a country road lined with candles sitting in milk jugs leading the way to the church. They come to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas.

Thanks so much for sharing that! The little church here that used to do Journey to Bethlehem has not had it for a few years and I miss it. It was fun to go to yours!

I haven't seen a live nativity since I was a child. I'm just grinning over Mary's sneakers...hope that they were winter weight because it sure looks cold.

Catherine, love the pics of the live Nativity!! We used to raise wool sheep so that little lamb brought back so many memories! I love the donkey too. The horse in the one picture looked like one I used to own! Thanks for sharing!
