I would like to announce that the winner of the "Beloved" painting giveaway is:
Mary from Daisy Bouguet! Please stop by her blog to congratulate her! Now for those of you who didn't win, you can blame it on this good looking guy:
My son, Eric, got to draw the lucky winner. This is a big week for him. Friday was his 25th birthday and he graduates next Saturday with his masters in European History. So, today we had a little party for him. We all went together and got him a nice new laptop computer and he's a pretty happy guy! He'll need this when he goes to Spain in the fall to teach for a semester or two. I was told by several people that "Skype" would be the next best thing to seeing him in person, so we thought a really nice laptop would be the perfect gift. We're so proud of you Eric!
Congratulations to Mary! I'm jealous :-) And your son is adorable!
ReplyDeleteBoo Hoo, I am definitely blaming Eric! LOL :D Congrats on his birthday and graduation ( I am about to turn 25 too!) You must be very proud!

ReplyDeleteTo your son Eric. Keep up the good work in your education quest. My wife and I have been trying, with not much luck, to get our 19 year old grandson motivated. Keep your fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Eric on his education quest. My wife and I have been trying to get our 19 year old grandson headed in that direction. So far it is not working. What's the secret?
ReplyDeleteHi Catherine,
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to find your blog. I painted, using your patterns, for many years and I'm still in love with your work. Your name is always the name that comes to mind when I think of painting with acrylics. Your angel you made for the new baby is totally adorable; it's such a treat to see new designs. Those cupcakes are so darn cute too! Of course my love started with the houses, so I'm in love with each new house design as well. I really want to get back into painting--perhaps you will entice me to get back into it. I won't be missing a thing any more; I subscribed.
A big hello form Turkey, My heart is always with you but I am soooo far away from you....Everyday, in my workshop, if I can find time to sit in front of my computer, I look at your drawings and get more nergy to work till to the evening, I am so in love with all your drawings, I adore them.... Congratulations to Mary as well, I am so jeolous with her, ha ha ha...and Happy Birthday to your son...
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the very lucky winner! What a very handsome son! Congrats on his graduation I see in the next post! You must be so proud of him...a Masters degree! What a lot of hard work! :)
